Hedgy Labs is an applied AI lab. We work with owners and operators to stand up real AI use cases — business intelligence and the operational workflows that keep the place moving — in a matter of weeks, not roadmaps. We are interested in the unglamorous parts of a business: the report someone rebuilds by hand every Monday, the question nobody can answer because the data lives in six places.
Everything we deliver leaves you with capability rather than a dependency: a unified, governed data lake; internal AI apps your team can build, use, and publish; and, for partners we work closely with, a rebuilt public face.
Approach
We do not deliver a black box. Everything is built on Setoku, an open-source context layer we author and maintain, self-hosted on infrastructure you control. Three properties are load-bearing:
- Self-hosted. Your data never leaves your walls.
- Open source. No lock-in, and no privileged seat you cannot inspect.
- Human-in-the-loop. The model proposes; a person approves before anything is committed.
When an engagement ends, what we installed is still standing, still yours, still auditable.
